They are air dried from a single ingredient, 100% beef, with nothing added at any point: no colourings, no flavourings, no preservatives, no artificial anything. Just the ear, dried slowly until it is light, crisp at the edges and full of natural flavour.
They are naturally very high in protein and, unusually for a chew this size, very low in fat at just 3%. That makes them a genuinely useful option if your dog is on a lower fat diet, or if you have been looking for something to offer instead of a richer chew but did not want to compromise on chew time.
A quick word on what these are not, because it comes up a lot. Cows Ears are not rawhide. There is no bleaching, no pressing, no glue and no chemical processing involved.
